Quokka Sports - Total Immersion Sports - Digital Storytelling

Quokka Sports was just a bit ahead of it's time. The goal was a total sports immersion experience. We wanted to capture the sights, smells and sounds of some of the most thrilling events in the world. From ascents of Mount Everest, auto racing and sailing races around the world to more traditional sports like Golf and Football, we wanted to capture the feeling of being there. We had heart rate and G force telemetry from the athletes that were then displayed in interactive data visualizations. We were pioneering the combination of video, animation and online story telling. The future of sports coverage was the goal.

I worked on designing the Champion Auto Racing Teams website CART.com. I worked on story telling  with video, interactive flash experiences, data visualizations, images and copy. I coded html, actionscript and edited video & images.
